Extended Child Care Program

Children are not defined by disease, they are not forgotten or cast off, they are precious, valued and loved. 

• Serving as a bridge between the hospital and the community.
• Responding to the non-medical and health related needs of children.
• Supporting families during their medical crisis.
• For infants and children living with AIDS, TB and other life-threatening illnesses.

The cycle of caring for and nurturing continues with the children whom God has entrusted to us, providing quality education as well as socialization opportunities in preparation for placement into their 'forever families'. God has done great and amazing things on behalf of the PJM children! They are growing body, mind and spirit, asking questions about life in general that causes us to ponder the God-given wisdom and insight of children!

Treatment Partners

The children and parents/guardians living with HIV/AIDS, meet regularly to discuss issues of treatment, access to medicine, preparation for disclosure as well as family life concerns. PJM hosts Family Forum with medical doctors to discuss medical management issues facing the families.

Community Interaction

PJM is our second family!

• Referring and networking for family assistance 
• Providing times of refreshing for children and families 
• Visiting children in their community
